AreaCopa sends a magic link to your email; click it to access your tournament dashboard at any time, from any device, without a password. The whole setup takes less than five minutes.
Is AreaCopa free?
Yes, AreaCopa is completely free to use. There are no hidden fees, no subscription plans, and no limits on the number of tournaments, teams, or matches you can create. Every feature (schedule generator, live standings, result entry) is available to everyone at no cost.
Do players need to create an account?
No account is needed by anyone. The tournament organiser receives a magic link via email to manage the tournament. Players, coaches, and spectators can view the schedule, standings, and results simply by opening the public tournament link: no login, no registration required.
How does the automatic schedule generator work?
After you add your teams and choose a tournament format, AreaCopa automatically calculates all matches for the group stage and knockout rounds. You can choose from different formats depending on the number of teams, for example a group stage with a semi-final and final for eight teams. The complete fixture plan is ready in seconds.
Can I create a tournament plan for indoor football?
Yes. AreaCopa works for indoor football tournaments, outdoor matches, youth leagues, and any other format. The schedule generator creates a complete tournament plan regardless of sport or venue. It is especially popular for indoor football tournaments with six to ten teams.
How many teams can I add to my tournament?
There is no fixed limit on the number of teams. The schedule generator handles small tournaments with four teams as well as large events with twenty or more teams. It automatically divides teams into groups and calculates the knockout bracket based on the number of participants.
Can I update results during the tournament?
Yes. You can enter and update results at any time directly from your smartphone: no app needed, just the browser. As soon as a result is saved, the standings table updates automatically so all participants and spectators see the current state of the tournament in real time.
What do I need to plan before the tournament starts?

What happens if I lose the management link?
The magic link is tied to your email address. If you lose it, simply create the tournament again with the same email address and AreaCopa will send you a new link. Your tournament data is always accessible as long as you have the original link or request a new one.
